Barcdy is a small, friendly, family run establishment offering pitches for touring caravans and tents. In addition, it is possible to purchase your own permanent, on site holiday home - please ask for details.

It lies in a secluded and sheltered vale, with wooded hills tumbling down to the rear and wide open views across the Dwyryd estuary to the front.

Barcdy first welcomed visitors some sixty years ago and is still run by the same family. Many of its visitors return year after year assured that on each return visit they will enjoy the very best standards of comfort and cleanliness with facilities including:-

• fully serviced all-weather touring pitches
• electric hook-up points for tents
• Wi-Fi internet access (bring your own laptop)
• launderette
• dishwashing sinks
• plenty of hot water
• high ratio of showers/toilets to visitors
• shaver points
• hairdryers
• tourist information available

We no longer have a shop on the park but we sell bottled gas and we will freeze your ice packs. There is a village shop and Post Office at Talsarnau and several food shops at Penrhyndeudraeth, both villages being within a mile of here. There are two super markets at Porthmadog, five miles away.

Barcdy has 40 fully serviced all-weather touring pitches. There are also 50 pitches for tents, some of which have electric hook-up points. These are spread over a large area extending in all to approximately 12 acres, so you will never feel hemmed-in or overcrowded.

The grounds, which include a further 28 acres or so of open field and natural oak woodland, are a haven to wildlife including badgers, owls and many migratory birds and there is plenty of room to wander at leisure in peace and quiet.

We are sorry that dogs cannot be accommodated.
